Organisers of the World Yoga Festival say it will be "bigger than in previous years" if it secures a licence for its 10th anniversary.

The Arsha Kula Foundation has applied to Buckinghamshire Council to host classes and live music for up to 1,500 people on the Culden Faw Estate, between Henley-on-Thames and Marlow.

The foundation said there were more people wanting to practise authentic yoga.

It said this year's event, which is planned for 30 July to 2 August, would be somewhere between a retreat and a festival.

Organisers have produced a noise management plan and said they would meet any neighbours who had concerns or speak to them in an online call, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

Comments on the application can be made to the council until 8 April.
