The weather was a mixed bag as we approached the start of British Summer Time (BST).

The clocks sprang forward at 01:00 GMT, signalling longer and hopefully brighter days.

But this week in the north-east of England and Cumbria we experienced sun, snow, wind and hail.

Still, our Weather Watchers have been out in force capturing the best and most dramatic of the weather.
