Jersey's competition watchdog suspects "two or more" firms had made an illegal agreement

Jersey's competition watchdog has launched an investigation into suspected uncompetitive practices operating in the island's transportation, logistics and storage sector.

The Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority said it had information suggesting "two or more" firms had entered into "an agreement which may have detrimentally affected competition".

The authority said it operated a leniency policy for firms willing to end their involvement in a cartel.

It said anyone with concerns about about competition in the sector should contact them.
