David Cuthbert has been described as a "kind", "loving" man with a "heart of gold"

Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man found dead in a house.

David Cuthbert, 49, was found dead by police in a property on Egglescliffe Close, in Stockton, on Saturday at 18:50 GMT.

His family said he had a "heart of gold" and was "loved by so many and would do anything for anyone".

Five people were initially arrested on suspicion of his murder and Cleveland Police said two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old had now been charged.

In a statement, Cuthbert's family said: "David was a kind, loving, fun man with a heart of gold.

"Always smiling and making people laugh, he would light up a room in seconds.

"All our hearts are broken. We all love you so much, David."

All three suspects have been remanded into custody and are set to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court.
