More than £10,000 has been raised for a hospice following a festive tractor run.

Jersey Hospice said the Christmas Tractor Run took place on 14 December where 50 tractors decorated in festive lights, tinsel and signs travelled more than 30 miles (48.3km) across the island.

On Thursday, the charity said the event had raised a total of £10,476.89 "so far".

It said the tractor run was a "great community event" organised by John Deans and his team, with support from the hospice.
