Motorcyclist killed in East Yorkshire crash

A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in East Yorkshire.

Karen Smith, 49, died at the scene of the collision involving her motorbike and a car on the A1033 at the junction with Thorn Road near the village of Thorngumbald.

The driver and passenger of the car were taken to hospital to receive medical treatment for minor injuries, Humberside Police said.

The force is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the incident which happened at about 17:15 GMT on Wednesday.
