A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal motorbike crash a year ago.

Alex Edwards, 22, of Guilsfield, Powys, died at the scene of a crash with a white Vauxhall van on the B4393 near Llandrino Bridge on 16 September 2024.

A 53-year-old man from Llanymynech has been summoned to appear at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on the 14 October, to answer a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

After Mr Edwards' death last year, his family said Alex had a "warm, friendly and gentle nature" and "left a lasting impression on those who got to know him".
