Two people have been arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering offences while in charge of a care home.

Northamptonshire Police said one property in Golders Green, north-west London, and another in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, were searched on Wednesday.

A man and a woman, both in their 60s, were arrested and have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The force said the "warrants were executed following alleged fraudulent activity at a charity while in charge of a Northamptonshire care home", but did not provide any more details.
