A £146m bridge has reopened to traffic after a "swift resolution" to a technical fault.

From Friday evening, all traffic had been stopped from using the Gull Wing in Lowestoft, Suffolk. It reopened at 12:55 GMT on Saturday.

Suffolk Highways thanked bridge users for their patience and said it had "prioritised getting the bridge open at the earliest opportunity" following successful testing on Saturday morning.

The bridge opened in September 2024, providing a third road crossing over Lake Lothing.
