Serious crash causes A15 in city to close

A road was closed for a number of hours by police investigating a serious crash in Peterborough.

The A15 London Road in Hampton was shut in both directions following an incident overnight, between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The closure was put in place between the Clayburn Road and Eagle Way junctions.

Cambridgeshire Police confirmed at about 08:00 GMT that the cordon had been lifted.
