Two teenagers have been arrested after reports of a knifepoint robbery.

Humberside Police said a boy and a girl allegedly approached a member of the public and threatened them with a knife before stealing their car at 02:15 GMT on Story Street, Hull.

The force said armed officers then found the stolen vehicle along with two people nearby who were in possession of the key.

A 14-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of robbery and both remain in police custody. The force said no one was hurt in the incident.
