Car stolen at knifepoint as victim is chased away

Police are asking the public to help them track two suspects, believed to be aged 17 and 18

A man had his car stolen at knifepoint while he was parked in Dudley.

He was threatened with a knife while he was sitting in his grey BMW on Sycamore Green. The suspects demanded he get out of his car and he was then chased away by another group while his vehicle was driven off.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of robbery, West Midlands Police said.

Officers added they now want help tracing two people, thought to be aged about 17 and 18, believed to have been wearing all black with gloves and face coverings. The incident took place on the evening of 17 February.

One suspect was described as about 17 years old, 5ft 5ins (1.65m) and of a large build. The other was described as slim, 5ft 9ins (1.75m) and 18 years old.

Police have been making a number of inquiries such as reviewing CCTV footage and tracking vehicles, the force said.
