A new look has been unveiled for the Peaky Blinders mural near Birmingham New Street station.

The 50-meter installation, on Hill Street and by artist Jon Jones, depicts scenes from the new film featuring the iconic Tommy Shelby, alongside memorable moments and characters from the wider series.

Jones, a proud Brummie, said it was an honour to be part of updating "an already iconic installation".

"It means a great deal to see the work evolve in the city and continue to connect with people passing through every day."

Jones collaborated with the West Midlands Police Museum to explore the city's 19th-century criminal underworld.

He drew on archival materials, including police records and historic mugshots, to curate a blend of fiction and history to create the new art works.

The previous mural featured images of the Peaky Blinders in 2022 ahead of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Central BID Manager Steve Hewett said since then it had become a popular destination for visitors to capture iconic Peaky Blinder selfies.

"This refresh of stunning Jon Jones art honours Cillian Murphy and his wonderful portrayal of Tommy Shelby," he said.
