Officers are searching for a bike and clothes belonging to a man whose body was recovered from a river.

Suffolk Police said the man was pulled out of the River Deben at Waldringfield, near Woodbridge, at about 08:45 BST on Sunday.

They believe they now know his identity, but are appealing for anyone who saw a man riding a black Cube bicycle and wearing a khaki shirt and baseball cap on Saturday or early Sunday to contact them.

The man was described as white, about 35 years old, with fair hair and a ginger beard.

A possible sighting of the man was also made on Saturday at 15:45 near the Seven Hills roundabout at Levington.

The man's cause of death was unknown but was not believed to be suspicious, police previously said.
