Luke Littler lifts spirits on children's ward
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals CharityWorld darts champion Luke Littler has delighted young patients during a visit to Warrington Hospital, chatting and playing darts with them before handing out some early Christmas presents.
The 18-year-old, who hails from the Cheshire town, handed out magnetic dartboards, signed shirts and player cards.
He also posed for selfies and photos before throwing some darts with patients on the children's ward.
"Warrington is my home, and the support from people here means everything," said Littler. "If I can bring a tiny bit of happiness to families and patients going through tough times then it makes it all worthwhile."

"[My son] Ezra loved playing darts with him and I'm sure he'll now want to follow in his footsteps!"

"I know myself the amazing job the staff do there and how important it is to show support in any way we can," he said. "Thank you for everything you do, it is life changing."

"It's amazing that our patients and staff were able to meet one of the biggest sports personalities from our town and to know that Luke supports his local community.
"It was a very special visit and we would like to thank him for his kind donations."
