Man charged after Antoine Semenyo racially abused
ReutersA man from Liverpool has been charged with racial abuse after Bournemouth footballer Antoine Semenyo was targeted during a match at Anfield.
The Ghanaian international flagged abuse to referees during his side's match at Liverpool on 15 August. The game was temporarily suspended in the 29th minute.
Mark Mogan, 47, of Templehill Close, Dovecot, has been charged with a racially aggravated section 5 public order offence.
Mr Mogan was given conditional bail and is set to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on 22 December, Merseyside Police confirmed.

Liverpool went on to win the match 4-2, in what was their Premier League opener.
