Tribute to father-of-two killed in rural crash

A 24-year-old man who died in a two-car crash on a rural road in Dorset was "caring, funny and mischievous", his family have said.

Robbie Williams, also known as Robbie Diffey, and another driver, a 57-year-old man from Poole, were both pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on the B3078 at Knowlton, near Wimborne, on Saturday evening.

In a statement, the family of father-of-two Mr Williams, from Poole, said his death had "left a huge hole in all our hearts".

Dorset Police renewed an appeal for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

The crash happened close to the junction of the B3078 and Lumber Lane

Emergency services were called at 18:05 GMT on Saturday to a report of the collision on the B3078 near to the junction of Lumber Lane in Knowlton.

The family's statement, issued through police, said: "Robbie Kenneth Williams (Diffey) our beautiful, loving, caring, funny, mischievous boy.

"We promise to look after both your baby girls. We will forever and always love and miss you."
