Motorcyclist seriously injured in Boxing Day crash

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision involving a motorbike and a car near Wetwang in East Yorkshire.

The 51-year-old was riding a red Honda motorcycle when it collided with a silver Kia Rio on the A166 York Road near to the junction with the B1248 at about 13:30 GMT on Friday.

Humberside Police said the man had been taken to hospital for treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam or CCTV footage taken in the area around the time the incident occurred, is asked to contact police.
