Cambs PoliceA lorry that hit a bridge and failed to stop then split open - spilling a tonne of cockles on a roundabout.
Cambridgeshire Police said the lorry hit a low bridge at Queen Adelaide, near Ely, last week.
"The lorry driver continued driving with the damaged trailer which then split and left a tonne of cockles on the roundabout at A142 Stuntney Causeway," officers posted on Facebook.
"We apologise for any disruption caused, it was essen-shell the cockles were moved out [of] the road," they said, adding that the driver was "reported for driving without due care".
