Another premises on the same street was targeted in the early hours of Thursday morning and money was taken.

There were two further incidents reported on Saturday.

Cash was stolen from a warehouse on River Street and a property on Harbour Place was broken into, however nothing was taken.

Det Sgt Christopher Robertson said: "I'm appealing to the public for help to identify who is responsible for these break-ins.

"I'd urge anyone with information to come forward.

"If you have doorbell, dash-cam or private CCTV footage, please review this to see if you've captured anything which may assist our investigation."
