Man seriously injured in hit-and-run crash
BBCA man has been seriously injured in an alleged hit-and-run crash, police have said.
The crash involved a pedestrian and an Audi and happened on Tothill Avenue, Plymouth, at about 22:00 GMT on Wednesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
Officers said a local man in his 60s suffered "potentially life-changing injuries".
Police arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene and driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs.
Police said Tothill Avenue reopened at 09:00 and the car involved was found nearby following inquiries.
