LongleatPeople across the West enjoyed a burst of spring sunshine this week.
There was also a spring in the step of two new pygmy goats - Petal and Poppy - born recently at Longleat Safari Park near Warminster.
Meanwhile, keepers at Bristol Zoo Project were mourning the death of Jock, one of their gorillas.

Folk rock: The new Mumford & Sons music video was filmed in Bristol. Eve and Levanna from The Streets of Soul filmed, edited and directed the video for The Banjo Song - shot in The Eastville Club.
Bristol Zoo Project"Devastation": Staff at the Bristol Zoo Project have spoken of their sadness at the death of Jock, a silverback western lowland gorilla, who was 42.
The gorillas had been moved from their old site in Clifton just a few days before.

Happy surprise: Two sisters who believed they were fraternal twins have discovered they were in fact identical - after one of them was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of 23.
Caitlin and Grace Leggett, who both went to the University of Bristol, said being identical was "a bit cooler" than fraternal twins.
Citizens Advice South GloucestershireOutstanding commitment: Laura Douglas was recognised with a community award for 22 years of volunteering with Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire.
She has helped an estimated 7,000 local people since she first started in 2004.

ThresholdSleep out: Fifty people in Swindon came together to raise £5,000 in a sleep out for homelessness charity Threshold.
They were given the option to shelter indoors due to the intermittent rain, but everyone opted to spend the night outside, finding shelter in the bike sheds or under canopies.
WeatherWatchers/CraigRichSunshine, what sunshine? For the first time in weeks, the county experienced prolonged periods of sunshine and blue skies, which helped to illuminate Salisbury Cathedral.

In one place: A new community hub has opened in Park South in Swindon, bringing employment, housing and health services together in a bid to streamline the process.
Integration lead Helena Robinson was one of those present at the hub's opening; it is the first of four set to open in the town by the end of the year.

The coach driver has followed the same route since the coronavirus pandemic and joked he got his ink "when his divorce came through".
