'Material' removed from home where chemicals found
BBC/Leanne BrownA police cordon around a property where chemicals were discovered has been removed and residents have returned to their homes.
Lincolnshire Police said "further material" had been found at The Wolds in Waddingham, Lincolnshire, after substances were first discovered on Thursday.
The force said "material identified as needing to be removed" had been recovered by its explosive ordnance disposal team and taken to an area near Faldingworth to be destroyed.
An 18-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a weapon, device or ammunition, and making an explosive substance has been released on bail.
Officers and other emergency services will remain on scene for some time while further searches are carried out, police added.
A spokesperson said: "We are really grateful for their (residents) cooperation during this operation, and we appreciate how difficult it is to have been asked to leave their homes for the majority of the day.
"This cooperation has helped us to act as quickly as possible while ensuring everyone's safety and it is very much appreciated, as is the assistance of the local village hall as a place residents could rest."
