Driver seriously injured after his car hits house

A 41-year-old man has been seriously injured after the car he was driving hit a house in Lincolnshire.

Officers were called to the incident on Thurlby Road in Bassingham at around 11:41 GMT on Sunday.

A BMW X5 left the road and crashed into the property, Lincolnshire Police said.

The force is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
