Which West Midlands stations are the busiest?
BBCBirmingham New Street remains the busiest railway station outside of London, according to an annual report.
It was the most-used in the West Midlands with an estimated 36.6 million entries or exits made by passengers between April 2024 and March 2025, the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) said.
This made it the 13th busiest station in Great Britain, with London Liverpool Street the country's most-used at 98 million.
Other busy stations in the West Midlands included Birmingham Moor Street with 7.1 million, Coventry at 6.8 million and Wolverhampton on 5.2 million.
The 20 busiest stations in the West Midlands, based on the estimated number of passenger entries or exits, were:

Polesworth in Warwickshire was the least-used station in the West Midlands with just 154 entries or exits.
It was followed by Broome in Shropshire with 1,682, Hopton Heath, Shropshire, with 2,230 and Bearley, Warwickshire, with 2,252.
The report from the ORR was published on Thursday as part of its annual research into station usage, which was primarily based on ticket sales, the regulator said.
