Glasgow Subway reopens after train failure at depot forced closure

The Glasgow Subway closed during one of the busiest periods of the day

Glasgow Subway has reopened after being suspended following a train failure at the depot.

Operator Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) said both the inner and outer circles were shut down during one the busiest periods of the day.

It said services resumed just before 08:00.
