Fourth person charged with 2019 murder and kidnap
West Midlands PolicePolice have charged a fourth person with the murder of Tomasz Samel, who was kidnapped and killed in 2019.
Neil Jones, 48, of no fixed address appeared before Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Thursday and remanded in custody to appear before the city's crown court on Monday.
Samel, 45, was taken from his home on Raleigh Close, Handsworth, in a white van at about 08:45 GMT on 27 March 2019.
Later that day he banged on the door of a property in Bickerstaffe, Lancashire, to get help but was suffering from 75% burns.
He died in a specialist burns unit in Liverpool on 21 June.
Police have arrested and charged three other people in connection with the investigation.
