Services of remembrance have been held across the West Midlands to mark Remembrance Sunday.

They included a gathering at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas in Staffordshire, where hundreds of people gathered at the foot of the Armed Forces Memorial.

Mark Ellis, who is in charge of the arboretum, said remembrance was a "year round activity" but Remembrance Sunday was an "incredibly important" day.

Elsewhere, parades were also held and wreaths of poppies were laid at cenotaphs.

We've gathered together a gallery of pictures from some of the memorial services and parades which took place.
