Biker suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

A biker is "fighting for his life" after a crash, Cambridgeshire Police have said.

Emergency services were called to the A603 near Orwell just after 08:30 BST.

A 44-year-old man from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, was riding a black Honda motorbike in the eastbound direction when it left the road and hit a tree.

He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
