Man charged with murdering his grandfather, 82
BBCA man has been charged with murdering his 82-year-old grandfather in Greater Manchester.
Following reports of a serious assault, Kenneth Turner was found injured at a property in Stoneleigh Road, Oldham, at about 17:12 GMT on Sunday, said Greater Manchester Police.
Kenneth Turner, whose 35-year-old grandson Dwaine Turner has been charged with murder, was taken to hospital but died the following day, the force added.
Dwaine Turner, of Stoneleigh Road, is due to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Det Ch Insp Louise Edwards said: "Our priority is understanding the full circumstances and getting justice for the victim.
"Our thoughts are with Kenneth's family, who are being supported."
