A jury found City of London Police officer Daniel Condon not guilty of all charges

A City of London police officer has been found not guilty of two counts of rape and one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

Daniel Condon, 37, faced accusations related to an alleged incident in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, in May 2022 while off duty.

A jury at Kingston Crown Court found Condon, of Horley, not guilty of all charges on 7 January.

A City of London Police misconduct investigation continues.
