Wild camping filmmakers rescued while wild camping
Keswick Mountain Rescue TeamA mountain rescue team came to the aid of six film students who were making a documentary about wild camping.
The group were in the Lake District on Thursday when they were caught out by high winds and heavy rain.
Police alerted rescuers shortly after 03:30 GMT and an 11-strong rescue team made their way to the Langstrath Valley, where they found the students huddled inside the only tent left standing of the three they had carried with them.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team said the students may need to "rewrite their film script" after the unexpected turn in their project.
In a post on Facebook, the rescuers said the students "succumbed to the high winds and heavy rainfall" which have hit Cumbria this week.
Warm clothing and hot drinks were provided before the group's soaked equipment was packed up and they were escorted back down the fell.
The rescue took just over six hours.
