A large cliff fall has forced the closure of a section of the South West Coast Path on Dorset's Jurassic Coast.

The collapse and mud flow happened at Stonebarrow, near Charmouth, on Wednesday night.

Dorset Council said it had closed the coast path and was working on a diversion.

Members of the public have been warned to stay away from the edge and the base of cliffs and to take notice of tide times.
