Murder accused denies attacking man

A man has denied murdering another man and carrying a blade following a street attack.

At Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday, Indogan Erdogan, 31, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to murdering 27-year-old Fatih Zengi.

Mr Zengi was found seriously injured in Manchester Road, Swindon, Wiltshire, at about 05:10 BST on 2 July and died shortly after.

A provisional trial date has been set for 7 January. It is expected to last two weeks.
