Play aims to teach children about online safety

A play aimed at teaching children the importance of online safety is set to tour primary schools across the island.

NSPCC Jersey said The Net play, developed with the help of children, parents and professionals, follows the story of a popular girl who shares images on platforms "inappropriate for her age".

The charity said each showing would be followed by a workshop co-facilitated by NSPCC Jersey and theatre staff.

It said the show would be performed to Year 6 pupils from 28 primary schools in September and October.
