Andy Carroll 'repeatedly called' ex-wife, court told
PA MediaFormer England striker Andy Carroll has appeared in court over an alleged breach of a non-molestation order against his ex-wife, a reality TV star.
The ex-Liverpool, Newcastle United and West Ham footballer, 37, is accused of "repeatedly calling" Billi Mucklow in March 2025.
He attended Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on crutches, having undergone surgery on a fracture and ligaments over the weekend.
Carroll, who now plays for National League South side Dagenham and Redbridge, indicated a not guilty plea and will appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 4 March.
Mucklow is a TV personality who has appeared on ITV's The Only Way is Essex.

The non-molestation order against him was made at the family court in Chelmsford in October 2024, the court heard.
Deputy district judge Roy Brown released Carroll on conditional bail, ordering he does not contact Mucklow.
"If you breach that then, of course, you could end up being arrested and taken to custody," the judge said.
PA MediaThe footballer will be asked to enter a formal plea to the allegation he breached the order at the next hearing.
He joined Dagenham and Redbridge in summer 2025, after returning to England following spells at French clubs Amiens and Bordeaux.
Carroll scored twice in nine appearances for England, including against Sweden at Euro 2012.
A non-molestation order is a court injunction typically issued to prevent a person from communicating with another and could also stop someone from coming within a certain distance of a specific address or a place of work.
The punishment for breaching such an order ranges from a fine to up to five years in prison for the most serious cases.
