A livestreamer was arrested outside Parliament following reports of a group of men carrying a firearm.

Krimoe, a streamer who has more than 48,000 followers on livestreaming platform Twitch, was broadcasting in Westminster when he was arrested at about 22:50 GMT on Saturday.

It is thought an imitation weapon was seized at the scene. During the arrest an officer can be heard saying a firearm had been seen on camera.

The Metropolitan Police said 11 men were arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

They have since been bailed pending further inquiries, the Met added.

Twitch streamers are content creators who broadcast themselves on the livestreaming platform Twitch, often earning money through subscriptions, advertising and donations.
