Rock legend Alice Cooper will visit Wolverhampton as part of his book tour, Devil on My Shoulder.

The singer-songwriter, whose career spans more than five decades, is releasing an autobiography this year to lift the lid on his extraordinary life.

Published on 8 October, Cooper will take the audience through his autobiography at the University of Wolverhampton at The Halls Venue on 20 October, which includes a Q&A.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, with organisers saying the event will "give you a rare glimpse behind the greasepaint and guillotines".

The Wolverhampton event will be the last of eight events on the book tour in the UK.

Cooper will also be visiting Cardiff, Cambridge, Brighton, Manchester, Stockton-on-Tees and Glasgow, as well as the London Palladium.
