Fire crews have tackled a blaze at a farm where an oil tank and gas cylinder were being stored.

They were sent to the farm on The Street in Kettlebaston, near Lavenham, Suffolk, at about 01:00 GMT.

A barn and a workshop were alight and the fire service said there were concerns for a nearby farmhouse and a building where the tank and cylinder were.

The fire was out by 04:50 GMT but crews remained at the scene to check for hotspots. No casualties were reported.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said a brick building and adjoining sheds were completely destroyed in the fire.

It is thought the cause of the fire was electrical.
