A busy road in Leicester has closed following a crash.

Officers were called to Belgrave Road, at the junction with Cossington Street, shortly after 16:30 GMT on Sunday.

Police said the road, also known as Leicester's Golden Mile, was currently closed in both directions.

Drivers are being advised to find alternative routes while emergency services are at the scene, police added.
