Woman taken to hospital after being hit by lorry

A woman who was struck by a lorry in County Donegal has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Shortly after 15:00 local time, Gardaí (Irish police) and emergency services were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and lorry at Station Roundabout, Port Road, Letterkenny.

Gardaí secured the scene and the woman was taken to hospital.

Traffic diversions are in place.
