Richard Ashcroft will perform at the castle next July

Singer Richard Ashcroft has been announced as a second headline act at Ludlow Castle next summer.

Earlier this month, organisers of the summer concert series at the castle said it would continue in 2026, with the Human League confirmed as their first headliner of the season.

The 80s synth band will perform on 18 July, supported by Marc Almond, Blancmange and Altered Images, with The Verve's Ashcroft taking to the stage on 25 July.

Tickets for local residents will go sale on Wednesday ahead of general release on Friday, organisers said.

Capacity for the concerts is 6,000 and previous performers include Elbow, Olly Murs, Jess Glynne and Supergrass.
