An airline has announced two new routes for Jersey for summer 2027.

Jet2 has confirmed new flights from Birmingham and Bristol, alongside more services from Manchester and an extended season running through to the end of October.

The company said the move came in response to "continued demand from customers and independent travel agents booking holidays for the short hop to Jersey".

Matt Thomas, chief executive of Ports of Jersey, said the move "demonstrates the growing confidence airlines have in Jersey".

It is the latest announcement of news routes serving the island.

Last month Loganair announced it would be launching services to Bordeaux in France.

The expansion means Jet2 will offer flights from six UK airports in total, with capacity to Jersey increasing by more than 140% compared with summer 2026.

Chief executive Steve Heapy said holidaymakers had a "fantastic choice" of flights to Jersey.

"With weekend and midweek flights available, customers have plenty of opportunity to visit the stunning island of Jersey with Jet2 in summer 2027," he said.
