A hospital trust has won praise for how good its staff training is from the Princess Royal.

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust was recognised with the Princess Royal Training Award for dedication towards developing workers and being inclusive.

There was also praise for the centre used for training at New Cross Hospital, SimWard Wolverhampton, which can simulate various medical scenarios for students.

In Princess Anne's honour for the centre, the trust was "highly commended for innovation".

She gave them the award at an event in London in December.
