Reward offered over wanted man after woman stabbed
West Midlands PoliceA reward of up to £10,000 has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man who is wanted in relation to the stabbing of a woman in Coventry.
Deara Sadiq, 21, from Coventry, was identified as the prime suspect in the attack according to West Midlands Police.
They said officers were called to an address on Swansell Street on 18 February after a woman in her 20s was found with multiple stab wounds.
She was left with life changing injuries, they added, including defensive injuries to her hands which required surgery.
Independent charity Crimestoppers appealed for anyone with information about Sadiq's whereabouts to come forward anonymously.
Det Sgt Jasmine Hall said the "smallest bit of information" could help police investigating the incident.
"A young woman has been left with life-changing injuries following this awful attack.
"I would appeal to anyone who has information on Deara's whereabouts to get in touch.
She added: "We need to get justice for this young woman."
