Manx Utilities workers injured using cherry picker
BBCTwo Manx Utilities workers have been injured while using a cherry picker.
The pair were taken to Noble's Hospital after being hurt at a site in Ballasalla, with one continuing to receive treatment, the government-owned utilities provider said.
They had been working on a "mobile elevating work platform", more commonly known as a cherry picker, on 20 January.
A spokesman said: "Both were treated at the scene by emergency services before being taken to Noble's Hospital. Our thoughts are with the colleagues affected, and we are providing support to them and their families."
Manx Utilities said it was liaising with the Health & Safety at Work Inspectorate and declined to comment further.
The BBC has contacted the inspectorate for a response.
