Motorist to appear in court over toddler's death

A man is due to appear in court over a three-vehicle crash which led to the death of a 20-month-old boy.

Hristo Iliev, 32, of Hide Close, Boston, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Lincolnshire Police said. He is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 23 April.

The crash happened near the Holdingham roundabout on the A17 near Sleaford, at about 16:45 GMT on 19 March last year.

Finley Baker, the toddler, was airlifted to hospital but died two days later. The driver of one of the vehicles was also seriously injured.
