Battery recycling centre fire causes disruption
BBCRoads were closed after a fire at a lithium battery recycling centre.
West Midlands Fire Service was called to the incident on Lincoln Street, in the Heath Town area of Wolverhampton, shortly after midnight.
There are not believed to be any casualties or injuries.
The fire service said Tremont Street had since reopened, although restrictions are still in place on Lincoln Street.
At the height of the fire, there were about 80 firefighters and 10 fire engines at the scene.
The incident has now been scaled down, the fire service said, but crews remain at the site and people are advised to avoid the area.
National Express West Midlands posted on X to warn passengers a number of services could be delayed due to congestion on nearby Wednesfield Road.
