Misconduct charges for former police officer

A former West Midlands Police officer has been charged with multiple counts of misconduct in public office and drug-related offences.

Kayleigh Moye, 28, is accused of misusing police computer systems by accessing information about known criminals and forming intimate relations with them.

Her actions are alleged to have taken place between September 2022 and February 2024.

Moye is set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

In total she faces four counts of misconduct in public office, a count of supplying cannabis, and two of possessing cannabis.
