Jess Glynne among music festival headliners

Jess Glynne and Professor Green are among the headliners of a family music festival this summer in Shropshire.

Alderfest, at Alderford Lake, Whitchurch, takes place on 3-4 July.

Other acts announced on Friday include Sweet Female Attitude, garage duo Artful Dodger and tribute acts for Beyonce, Elton John and KPop Demon Hunters.

Activities will also be held throughout the event, including workshops for children, a stunt bike show, boat rides and a fun fair.

Hosts AJ and Curtis Pritchard will return to host the event, which sold out in 2025, with Ella Henderson, Toploader and The Vengaboys among the other big names, a spokesperson said.

On Monday, they said organising the festival had been "a journey".

"A lot of back-and-forth, a lot of patience and more behind-the-scenes work than anyone sees," the spokesperson added.

"We're genuinely proud to say this is our biggest line-up yet."
